Terms of Service

Effective date: January 1, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Flipzine platform operated by World Corporation ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Accounts

You must provide a valid email address and create a password to use Flipzine. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You may not assign or transfer your account to another party without our written consent.

2. Uploaded Content

Ownership. You retain all ownership rights to the content you upload to Flipzine. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your publications, PDFs, images, or text.

License grant. By uploading content, you grant World Corporation a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, convert, display, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating the Flipzine platform. This includes converting your PDF to page images, generating thumbnails, extracting text and links for the flipbook viewer, and serving content to your readers. This license terminates when you delete the content or your account.

Responsibility. You are solely responsible for the content you upload. You represent that you have all necessary rights and permissions to publish the content and that it does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights.

3. Prohibited Content

You may not upload or publish content that:

  • Is illegal or promotes illegal activities
  • Contains child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
  • Infringes the copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights of others
  • Contains malware, viruses, or malicious code
  • Is defamatory, harassing, or threatening
  • Impersonates another person or entity
  • Violates applicable export control or sanctions laws

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms and to suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate them, at our sole discretion.

4. DMCA Takedown

If you believe that content on Flipzine infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown notice to our designated agent. Your notice must include:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
  • Identification of the infringing material and its location on Flipzine (URL)
  • Your contact information (name, address, email, phone number)
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf
  • Your physical or electronic signature

We will respond to valid DMCA notices promptly and may remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content. Repeat infringers will have their accounts terminated.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Billing. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

Plan limits. Each plan has defined limits on the number of publications, maximum file size, and available features. If you downgrade or your subscription ends, content exceeding the lower plan's limits will remain accessible but you will not be able to upload new content until you are within the limits.

Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal in your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until the period ends.

Refunds. Subscription fees are generally non-refundable. If you believe you have been incorrectly charged, contact us at legal@worldcorp.co within 14 days of the charge and we will review your request.

6. Magazine Creation Service

The done-for-you magazine creation service is a separate offering priced per issue. Payment is due before work begins. Up to two rounds of revisions are included. Additional revisions or scope changes may incur extra fees. You retain full ownership of the final magazine produced.

7. Service Availability

We strive to keep Flipzine available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service is provided "as is" and "as available." We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience downtime due to circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any losses resulting from service interruptions.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, World Corporation and its officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless World Corporation from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the service, your uploaded content, or your violation of these Terms.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon termination, your content will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Lee County, North Carolina.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
